audi s3 loss of power

Hi, got in my s3 yesterday after 5mins of driving normal i put my foot down to accelerate & there was no power at all.. i was in 2nd gear (manual) and nothing the boost gauge was fully lit the the traction control light was flashing but i was definitely not wheel spinning.. i was only doing about 20 mph in dry conditions. manged to get to a safe place looked around the engine everything seemed ok, switched engine off then back on again & everything seemed normal.. the cars only 6 months old & done 2000 miles. is there anything I should be wary of??

Sounds like it'd slipped into limp mode.

I guess its still in warranty? Is it standard?

yes it's totally standard & still got 30 months warranty left. it was just strange mpg went down to 15mpg but it seems to be ok now.. thought it might of been a boost pipe come off but theres power there now..
