hi guys and girls i hope this is in the right area. if not some1 please correct it.
anyways ive done a full service oil/air/pollen filter and fresh oil on my 2011 s line q5
and went to change the fuel filter but for the life of me couldnt find it in engine bay(obsvious place to be)so i googled it and its under the plastic fairing beneath the drivers side sill. upon googling it a few comments were raised about priming the fuel system back up after filter change, my question is, do i need vcds to do this or can i just fill the filter with clean diesel. will the engine self prime or will it cause trouble to pump. i phoned audi and they want £90 to supply and fit a new fuel filter(cheeky twats). has anyone else here done a q5 fuel filter. any help would be great. thanks onion
