Those with the USB and audi Connection. I want to know which of these give the higher amps or gives more juice.

Im currently have the audi connection using the USB cable (don't know what colour it is) with a USB connection to micro USB. It's taking ages to charge my phone and was wondering if the dedicated USB has a higher ampage?

Do you know what are the voltage drawn from each of the sources? Might have to find a way to hack a suitable power source.

Voltage will always be +5V dc as per USB spec, current will vary (without measuring idk).

so does that mean power drawn from these sources will all be the same? or will the most power be drawn from cigarette socket?

More power *can* be drawn from the cigarette lighter socket, all the other "Audi" provided USB sockets are current limited.

But even then, the amount of current that can be drawn from the cigarette lighter socket will depend on the circuit inside that particular brand of 12V to 5V USB adaptor.

eg: These will provide 5V at 2A from 12V

Cheaper ones will give you less e.g.: 1A

Then you start getting into other problems:
