Audi A8 engine swap

Hello everyone!
I have an Audi A8 D3 3.0tdi.
The engine has 312,000km and I want to swap it with a lower mileage one. I found a D4 3.0tdi engine with 55,000km. Does it fit in D3 or should I watch for D3 engines?

Anything is possible however it will be a lot, lot more work. Find a D3 engine, at least you know it will work in your car
