I know i can easily identify my paint code but is there anywhere i can view the range of colours that audi have made these cars in( 2001 -2004)namely silver/grey,i'm going to look at some panels tomorrow and on screen the colour looks right but they do not have any paint codes on them,so in order to save a wasted trip, if i knew there were only 3 or 4 similar colours i might be able to tell.

Cheers James,always helpful!
I did just manage to find an American site which displayed the colours in the years they were manufactured and shows the Canvas biege to be a grey like colour a bit like mine.

I recently got some paint made up for me, and there's no way I'd order paint up without placing a colour swatch over your bodywork first.
My denim blue paint code actually had 3 subtlety different shades to choose from. Some VAG colours have many more flavours than that to choose from.

phill MC is right i used to work in a body shop and when we made paint up there was a minimum of 3 colours so you need to have the paint swatch to put on your pannel to get it right
