Hey

I currently drive a 54 plate avant sline .. it has 17" alloys wheel on currently.. looking to change all 4 tyres and alloys aren't up to scratch so thinking of changing wheels aswell.

Am I right in thinking, I have to go for replica RS6/RS4 alloys etc and cannot put on genuine ones as fitment is different?

Am not sure whether to go for RS6 or old/new RS4 ... anyone got pictures on a black avant?

Finally what size? 17" looks too small but I don't want to mess up the drive either if I can help it. In the near future my project ICE install will be going in which will weigh atleast 200kg.

Whats biggest I should go for?

My tyre size atm is 235/45/17/Y

So if I go for 18" I would need to go for 235/40/18 is that correct?

Newb here so explain anything and everything like I am one ;)
Also anyone recommend any websites for tyres/alloys .. or any places in the yorkshire area?

in terms of drive will it make a difference?

19" is the biggest

Doesn't have to be replicas my s -line came with 18" rs6 wheels

I believe rs6 is also 5x112.5 so they would fit too.

Drive will be a lil firmer but i find mine ok. S-Line suspension however is dam harsh.

The leons/golfs/boras etc need replicas cause they are 5x100

Audi fit RS6 wheels to lots of their models, least of all RS6's! So you would be better off with genuine ones there.

However with RS4 wheels you will need to get replica's as genuine RS4 wheels will have the incorrect offset for a standard A4.

In terms of size, I doubt you would be disappointed with 18's, but 19's are probably the ultimate.

Mercedes wheels also fit and have a similar offset .I am going to be putting on some OZ Superleggera III 's as soon as Ive finished refurbishing them
