hi ive a a3 55 reg and my rear wiper motor is no good the number is 8E9 955 711C there is one on ebay but the end letter is E NOT C will it still fit ? all the numbers are the same before the C

Same problem with my motor. Its leaking when you use rear wash. Filled the boot latch with water then cause the boot sensor to fail setting off the alarm.

Just ordered a new motor from Audi cost is £90. The leak is due to internal corrosion on the shaft and the car is a 55 plate too. A motor from a breaker will probably have as much wear so may not be a good buy.

Hi just seeN your post if you like I can get our parts guy to check etka tomorrow and will post an answer around 2ish is that ok?

Sorry for the late reply I've been out sick just checked on etka for you the part number 8E9 955 711 C changes to D then to E which is current so yes that motor will fit fine

Just replaced my burnt out rear wiper motor. On my A3 8P 2006 Sportsback with one from a MK 4 Golf... IMG 20140520 105655485 HDR This is the serial code for the golf wiper.

I brought the car from down south and think it was a hard water area as the tubes had got blocked up and caused the motor to burn out and washer fluid pour into the boot cavity, rather than out the nozzle.

As you can see it..looks like they were filling the wash jets up with mud...

Was a pair in the **** to get off but i found the best way was with lots of WD40 and a chizzle to pry the wiper arm off the spindle...

I hope this helps as a cheap and fast way to get the wiper arm off. I had read about getting special pulling tools etc..

Wiper problem fix all for less than a £10.
