Audi A3 1.6tdi Sluggish

Evening all,

So today trying to set off at a round about if felt like the car had no power. It sort of sluggishly pulled off then 5-10 secs it kicked in and shot off. Now the engine maintance light has come on.

Would anybody be able to advise what I should look at first. Don't want to take it to audi if it just needs something simple to fix it.

The light is still on, drove OK although had a little power loss in 3rd gear. I'm guessing something is blocked up.

Does anybody know where the egr valve is this audi? 2010 plate.

Could be a number of things from the symptoms you describe, one of those possibilities being one one the injectors.

Have you done a VCDS scan?

No not yet, gonna take it sometime this week. Hopefully the code will tell me exactly what's wrong.

Yes best thing to do as i said it could be number of things, but does sound like an unjector failure.

Yeah hope it something simple. I've heard the egr valve is at back of engine on my engine?
