Are 3 Door and 5 Door Wing Mirrors interchangeable?

Hi All,

Just a quick question,

I need to replace my drivers wing mirror on my 2008 (58) facelift sport back, i have found a very good condition replacement but its from a 2009, 3 door, visually they look the same but are the mountings the same?

Any help would be great

3 & 5dr bases aren't the same, you can grind down areas to make them fit, they will fit, but from experience, its much easier to find the correct fitment for your car.
