ok so the car was in for a service recently and ever since then the i-pod keeps losing connection on start up and just says no connection.

I have to pull the plug out the i-pod and it then immediately re-establishes connection.

It's pretty much every time now & is a pain in the ****

Anyone else experienced this or know how to sort it.

God knows what Audi have done to cause this as it worked perfectly before.

Occasionally I have to re-connect my USB stick as when I turn the car on it says not connected. But this has happened maybe 10 times max so not as bad as your situation.

Maybe they did a software update?

Yeah that is what I am suspecting.
Why can't they just leave things alone instead of fiddling:whip:

Yeah, similar to my experience.
Mine is iPod Classic connected via USB charging cable into centre arm rest.
