Apple Carplay "tinny" sound

Has anyone else noticed that when you play music through Carplay (I use Deezer) the sound is very tinny, about 50% quieter than normal and very low bass, it almost sounds like listening to music through £1 headphones from B&M.

Try turning eq off in the phone settings and the sound check setting.

Bang on mate. Checked the EQ in the Deezer app and it was on and set to Flat! Turned it off, spot on now, cheers
