Alloy wheel insurance

Just picked up my new car last night. Will post pics later. However, I have gleaming new wheels and would like to keep them that way. If the worst does happen - and it will- and I scrape one. Is there an independent insurer out there that I can use. I was quoted £449 yesterday from Audi. Surely there must be cheaper. To make make the task harder, there diamond cut rotors.

Any help or pointers to an insurance company will be appreciated.

Sorry I can't help, but I would also like some pointers.

Most of the firms I can find online specifically exclude Diamond Cut.

These guys apparently do cover them, but haven't got a quote off them yet - http://www.premiasolutions.com/products.php#completewheelprotection

I do wonder if you're better off keeping the cash in your pocket and then using it for a refurb if required...
