Alarm sensor switch

Can anyone tell me if the interior alarm sensor switch on my 02 plate s3 should be illuminated i.e red led ?
ive pulled the switch connector which has 4 wires but only 3 connecting pins on the switch ? currently has no illuminaton .

yes it illuminates red no matter what. This is with keys out of ignition. Then when you press it the little square lights up to tell you interior sensor is inactive.

Many thanks mate for the reply , my switch does'nt look like that though its just a siren symbol ! a bit bigger than yours without a car outline surrounding it and no red led in corner ! i'm wondering what the correct part no for your switch is ?
