Can anyone assist on this problem I have at present. The car is an A4 B7 2.0 16v TDi.
Back in September last year while the car was having its MOT, the car failed the emissions.
I instructed the garage to change the air filter along with some other items.
However, last week while I was under the bonnet I noticed that the air filter box was open. I tried to fasten up the two securing screws but they just would not bite.
So now I’m left with an air box slightly open.
Can any one advise a replacement screw size and length along with the best type of screw to use to screw the air box shut.
I have attached a picture showing the two screws unfastened.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
