Hi to all A few weeks ago I ve fitted and replaced some bits on my car after owning the car for two years. I ve been so 'scared' about starting to work on the car but after having a death in my family I ve decided the life is too short so here we go: I ve changed the drl bulbs with some led ice blue ones(ebay or t8ups) ,next fog lights with some blue 6000 k halogens and new covers. I ve changed the low beam and high beam with some Osram blue halogen . After that grille off( thanks Desertstorm and a few other members for tips) was ordered from China but came super fast as it was physically here@Europe. The grille had parking sensors on the front but I don t have em on my car so very easy they came of but still the grille was fitted with some plastic plates for the number plates screws and I ve had to cut them out nicely so I ve used a hot blade and obviously a gas torch and the result was good but Some black paint was needed as the cut left some grey ish marks. The reverse bulbs swapwed for led super bright and the number plate bulbs with some very cool white led ones. I ve wrapped the mirrors in carbon fiber but didn t like it that much as it was my first wrapand didn t know that the wrap can t go in one piece.. anyway now I think I know a bit more. Number plate was ordered as sticker same dimensions and font as the legal requirements but came so slow and I ve fitted my original one aside and travelled 4500 k and croassed 8 countrys in Europe. I ve painted the calipers in banana yellow applied an Audi sticker on them plus the wheels got a refurb and I ve dropped some coats of gunmetal grey. The result pretty good bit again ebay sellers sending the good with crap delivery companies and I ve had to mix different paint brands and one wheel made me suffer I ve done plenty of mistakes but nothing major and I ve enjoyed every second of those tooo many minutes and hours doing it. I forgot to say that I ve de badge the car and then I ve tried to apply an rs4 logo in the front but didn t like it ao the grille has a clean look now. The crash bar was painted dark black gloss and looks awesome. I think this is pretty much the work on the car but I must say that I didn t spend to much as my wife keeps a close eye on me or actually both and the result was giving me some smiles as people started to give me thumbs up and some taking photos off the car. I want to thank the active members of this forum and to say that without you kind advice and vast knowledge That you share here didn t have the'courage' to do it. Thank you all. Adi
