2 boost sensors plus cam position sensorso what part does the DTUK box intercept and adjust?
Im keen to understand how far it goes.
does it just increase the boost pressure and lets the ECU to the rest with the fuelling etc? or does it also have to fudge the injectors into pumping more fuel in? and more?
And on from that, would Audi not be able to see via the ECU (if they were checking for say a blown engine) that the car had been over boosting for some time?

haha I can assure you, the DTUK car would kick my cars *** with the ABT tune... im taking it out asap.It would be interesting driving a race between these tuned cars to see which numbers are correct and if they delivers as what is expected?

I got my dtuk box on sat and it went straight on! Preset setting.
Now keeping it simple. It's fu*kin rapid! The pull is constant!!! Unlike before! What I didn't like about the 8v before putting this box on was the mid range pulling powder it felt so flat from 2nd-4th gear like when the turbo kick in you feel it pull then go flat! Witch shouldn't happen on a car like this the 8p didn't even feel like that! But now that flatness has gone! It constantly pulls feel sucking back in the seat! A couple mates had a quick blast who also wasn't inpressed with the 8v power after taking mine out the other day. But now saying this is what it should feel like standard!
So imo the box is well worth the money loads faster! Pulls like a train.
Now the only thing left that I don't like about the 8v is the gearbox.....where you feel the car jerk witch makes you jerk forward when changing gear worse going from 2nd to 3rd. This is when your flooring it. In between them gears your loosing boost for like 1second while it's changing gear hence the jerk then the power kicks back in u suck back in the seat....Obviously you hardly notice this when driving normal. But this is another mistake from Audi on the gearbox side of things imo as same the 8p never had That problem was smooth all way through gears when flooring it.... I think u all no what I mean to the guys who do give it some!
But happy enough now I have the dtuk box on it.
Why wait for 1000 miles I put mine on at 300miles ignore all that running in stuff! It's bs. The guys who deliver these cars rag the **** out of them. Plus tech guy at Audi said to me direct do u he'll have to run them in.
I'm now at 975 miles and have had the box sitting at home for two weekends now - very frustrating but as she hits 1k tonight then once I'm home I will be hooking her up.
Just out of interest did you guys cable tie any of the leads or the unit itself into position of do they sit ok? Any tips appreciated.
