8L or 8P. how do i know which is which??

i own a A3 03 plate 2.0 TDI Sport. how do i know if it is an 8L or 8P?

8L is the old shape, 8P is the new shape! Simple!

both had had facelifts but i wont confuse you with them, both facelifts remain the same code

The 2.0TDi was only available in the 8P, therefore yours is a 8P. Another way to check is the chassis number.

As Damian just said, that model wasnt available in the 8L range, also if you check your chassis number, the little white sticker in the front window by the wipers, if it has 8L or 8P in it, that will let you know which one it is
