What about going as a typical 80's teenager? "Frankie says relax" t-shirt. Converse all-stars with grolsh bottle tops in the laces. Neon bangles etc. Fingerless gloves. Stonewashed jeans. Pretty much what's in the highstreet today really!

Go as Ghostbusters! Its a perfect fancy dress.
Get an army surplus flight suit, wear a rucksack with a vacuum cleaner hose coming out of. Finally finish it off with ghostbuster logos printed out and stuck on.
Won last years Christmas work party like that !
