6N top mounts, any reason not to? . .

I just picked up a set of coilovers that are only a few months old and they came with also nearly new top mounts from a 6N Polo...

The guy said he was using them cos they lower the car more but seeing as they're new I was thinking I may as well use them my self unless anyone has a good reason not to?

Does anyone even know if using 6N top mounts is a thing? . .

I've never heard of it before

Not heard of using OEM 6N mounts, Usually Audi 80 OEM or The red polybush one's which cover A3/S3/GTi/LCR platform also cover 6N lower the car about 10mm, the top caps are different, have to modify your standard top caps to work with the 6N ones.
