Hi All,
Just looking for some guidance on where the below oil leak could be coming from with the under-tray removed. It's from my 2004 A4 B6 (Automatic/CVT). In the last pic I caught some of the oil/fluid to help with identification. Could it be differential fluid? The oil will tend to drip slowly once driven and stationary after a drive. The oil leak will then stop. The last pic shows how much came out after parking up.
Depending on what it is, I want to understand whether:
- the car can still be driven locally to a garage if needed without causing damage
- the oil/fluid can be easily topped up
- what oil/fluid spec would be needed
Has anyone got any recommended places I could get this seen to in London who specialises in resolving this kind of issue?
Thanks in advance.
