Mate at work has picked up a 3D printer, don't have a massive knowledge on the subject but would like to use it to make parts for my Audi A4 B6. Wondering what kind of things are needed and if there's any templates or if it should be paired with a 3D scanner, etc. Maybe this is too much to ask as it's such early adaption but yeah want it all to happen now haha.

Ive got you a mission! Someone with a 3d printer and a bit of time could try to replicate the b6 armrest clip/latch and do a repair kit for a tenner. Theres loads of us on here that are using velcro and other fixing methods.

Let us know how you go on

If it was mine I'd happily give it a go, but as it's my mates I'm looking for solutions rather than more problems haha.
