Well I’ve spent a lot of time reading this forum which is excellent but thought it was about time that I joined.
Some time ago I bought my dream car which I’ve had for a while now and at the same time bought something as a daily to get me to and from work.
Seeing as I’ve got the silly car for when I want to have some fun, I went sensible and bought a diesel insignia.
Well as you can tell from the thread, sensible got boring quickly so I ordered a new Audi a little while ago and today is collection day.
In a couple of hours I should be collecting my new Audi S3 Black editio in Ara blue.
Thought I would make a thread and if people are interested I’ll post some pics and a review once I’ve got it.
Top forum though ..

Welcome! I think we're all looking forward to see some pictures but as I have just experienced it's not outside the car you want to be when you have just picked it up

Welcome, I think it's safe to say we allwant to see pics of both cars lol

Thanks guys. Handover went smoothly. Now just to learn what it all does. First Audi but loving it, especially the virtual cockpit.
Couple of quick photos from the pickup and I’ve got some driving to do.

As for the silly car. It’s not totally silly to some but it’s a 2017 C63s Coupe. With a few mods.
For some reason it says the image file is too large when I try and upload the photo of that

Looks stunning in Ara blue and the alloys complement the car really well.

how well did they come off? wanting to paint mine, and S3 badges, a anthracite/grey colour. Don't really want to go black, just want something a bit softer than chrome

Anthracite nice mate because the black edition should really be named the Anthracite Edition as the trim ain't black, clocked this last night as did Jordan who tried to set out my driving seat position as if it where a BMW coupe.... Slung low and long..... With steering wheel pulled out to the max Lol

i just think chrome sticks out too much on the black grill, and black would blend in too much......middle ground

I've removed previous badges, the V6T ones on the S5, and replaced them with more appropriate Supercharged ones.
Use a hairdryer then dental floss to slice behind it through the sticky backing then removed residue with diluted nail varnish remover (wifes, not mine I might add!).

He's working more hours than the Toon clock but he seems to be enjoying it more than he did with Audi mate, he's got a new X5 40d with a lot carbon kit on it, as his demo just now big bus indeed too big
