My 3.0 tdi wouldn't start this morning. Battery was dead and i presumed it was because i was fitting a head unit yesterday and must have run it down. Tried charging the battery first with the same result, turned over a couple times then dead. Tried jumping off another car and it turned over fine but just kept turning without starting. Tried a battery from another car with the same result, just keeps turning over.
The only thing I did when fitting the head unit was tap into a switched live from the headlight switch. Im out of ideas now so was hoping someone else might have something to try. Any suggestions appreciated.
