DAB Aerial on windscreen

I am considering replacing my Concert HU with a DAB HU and would like to go for an internal windscreen mounted aerial. I have noted that most sites warn that this type of aerial will not work with a coated windscreen. Does anyone know if my 1999 Audi A6 has a coated windscreen? How could I tell? I am considering the JVC KD-DB711, has anyone else fitted one of these?

Works fine on my 02 A4 Avant with Blaupunkt DAB54 & internal aerial

Internal aerial works fine on my Revo DAB.
