Hi, just looking for a bit of advice,

Would it be possible to run 19s on my 3dr 8p A3 with 235/40/19s?

Ive never had 19s before (my last 2 cars were mk5 GTIs) and couldnt imagine driving on 235/35s ony daily comute, the ride was bad enough on my old gti on 225/40/18s.

Will there be a lot of scrubbing and would i still have any room at all to lower it a bit?

Cheers guys

I want rotors, i think they look a bit small for the car in 18s personally, no other reason

18" rim, 225 tyre 40 profile = 45.72+18= 62.72cm DIAMETER / 196.94cm CIRCUMFERENCE

19" rim, 235 tyre 40 profile = 48.26+18.72= 66.98cm DIAMETER / 210.31cm CIRCUMFERENCE

4cm bigger wheel/tyre and 14cm of rolling tread = that is not good for acceleration, tachometer and LOOKS!

(if my math is correct , I think it's close but not totally accurate, it's late )

Cheers buddy appreciated

Looks like im going to go for 18s then, dont fancy going from 17s on 45s to 19s on 35s lol.

Thanks again
