Hi all,
I had the battery replaced on my car today and the radio is now dead, not even in safe mode. I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box and the ones on top of the battery and they are all fine.

Are there fuses on the back of the radio itself? If there is where can I get some flat prongs to get the radio out to check? or another way to get the radio out?

Thanks Tuffty. Whats VCDS? the guys at work have the snap on diganostics. I will get them to check tomorrow.

VCDS = VAGCOM... diagnostic software... snap on stuff 'might' work but don't know how it works for diagnostics on modules other than the ECU..

Check instruments module and radio module in case there are codes that could help...

There should be a fuse in the back of the unit
