A3 Headlight beam help

Hi guys,

Failed MOT on my '06 a3 2.0 TDi BKD over the weekend on Tue and headlight beam pattern. Now I had a knock in it months ago where I hit a curb pretty hard and burst tyre and took a small chunk out of alloy and I have noticed that one headlight is brighter than other and that is the one that failed on beam pattern. I thought maybe the bulb was not seated correctly so I got 2 new bulbs but don't think it has made a difference. Any ideas what else I could check or do I have to get new headlight unit?

Ordered a new headlight unit - hopefully will do the trick, it is very annoying having one light brighter than the other. Has anyone else had this problems at all??
