Did you complete the basic setting on the pump?

I like when VAG seal things for life, on some cars gearbox oil is “sealed for life”

life is generally warranty period (3 years 60k miles) any car i have ever changed the gearbox oil around 100k the oil is like treacle, and you can certainly notice it has been changed.

A good oil is a cheap mechanic and all that.

really need to change my s-tronic gearbox oil, i don’t think it has ever been changed, manufacturer specify 40k and it’s now approaching 70k

From reports (self) there is either a problem or not with excess crud, not much in between. Taken at face value the problem is caused by the car or by the driver. If you look at the Haldex design and log a few parameters under your normal conditions you might conclude that AWD is intended to operate only momentarily i.e. to prevent/minimize wheel and axle deltas under very infrequent conditions not as an extended 4W drive. So who ya gonna believe
