Hi everyone. New to the forum and new to S5 ownership. Picked up a 2011 S5 v8 recently (assume this is the 8t variant?).
Anyway, I've noticed that the clutch feels really heavy - takes a lot of effort to fully depress. Is this common in these cars?
Also noticed that the gear change feels 'sloppy' if that makes any sense. ie I fairly regularly find myself missing 2nd, feels like a lot of motion to get from one gear to the next. Again, is this common? Has anyone fitted any aftermarket short-shift?
Car has only covered 47k miles.
All in all, really happy with it. A lot of car for the money and love the v8.
