Hi all,
I have searched this site for answers so apologies if this has already been answered but i couldn't find it.
I have a 2003 audi a4 convertible that has suddenly gone into limp mode. It happened after the heavy rain yesterday, shortly after i noticed a puddle of water in the drivers footwell. At the same time the drivers side brake light went. So, my question is... could a brake light being out cause limp mode? or could the water in the footwell also of got into the fuse board and shorted a fuse?? i did read one conversation where someone had the water in footwell and advised to turn heater on full blast for 90 minutes but i did this and no change. I am about to go and get new brake bulb but thought i would wait to see if any other parts might be needed.
