2001 A3 stud pattern??

hi guys,
can anyone help? i have a 2001 A3 and i am looking at putting a set of 18ins on it. i have found a second hand set currentlt on a 1998 a4... Will these fit mine.

I have been told that mine are 5x100 and a4's are 5x112 but not sure if this is correct?

Your advise will be appreciated.

Yep... 8L A3/S3 is 5 x 100... A4 will be 5 x 112
