2.5 TDi Quattro AKE 110k service, what & where?

The family wagon is due its next service (just over 110k).
The timing belt is I think due every 60k although the service book is confusing and it could be 60k or 80k. Anyway, I think it needs doing.
What else should I have done on this service seeing as the car is getting on a bit?
I remember reading that I might as well have the water pump done while the front end is off, anything else worth doing while it is off?
other things that I think need doing are:
brake fluid, brake hoses, fuel filter, oil change & filter, air & pollen filter.

other things that I'm not sure about:
gearbox oil - does this not need changing at somepoint?
coolant, no mention of this needing changing - just topping up. would like to change this myself and clean out the reservoir as its very dirty. anyone done this? is it easy? thinking about putting the reservoir tank in the dishwasher If I can get it off easily.
quattro system - does this need any sort of mainance?
anything else that need looking at/changing/checking that I've not thought of?

and finally, any recomendation where to get the work done, preferably somewhere in the north west?
will be giving the local stealers a ring for a quote as well as stoke & stafford audi, also volk service in blackpool.

does the book show when these items were last changed? the belts etc should have been done about 80k .I dont think the gearbox on a quattro needs anything .The coolant res are only £12 new and easyto change

Audi recommend 80k for the cambelt, most specialists will err towards 60k as being plenty. While the front is off it's also worth doing both tensioner and idler pulley, along with water pump, thermostat and also fuel pump belt. Some may see this as over cautious, but I speak from experience.

I personally do oil, air, fuel and pollen filter each service. I'm not sure of the brake fluid change interval (is it in the book?) but it would be nice if you're doing brake pipes etc.

Coolant can be tested to see if it's ok. Again if it's never been done it would be good to do it, waterpump/thermostat change will probably see to it anyway.

I 'think' the quattro system is sealed for life, but I'm not 100% sure, would be nice to find out though. I don't know about the gearbox change either I'm afraid.

Are you anywhere near Awesome GTi? I've heard good things about them, but I don't know the area at all.

I had the cambelt done at audi stoke at 67k(they've put + waterpump as well in the book), the book gives conflicting info on when to do the camshaft drive belt. It says 60,000 for "TDI engines with unit injector system" and 80,000 for "V6 TDI engines". I've rung audi twice and been given a different answer each time!
The brake fluid was done just over 2 years ago and it says in the book every 2 years.
I was thinking I might see If I can get some braided hoses for a reasonable price while I'm having them changed.
I do the air, pollen, oil filter & oil change, brake pads & discs myself. Is it easy to do the fuel filter yourself?

Awesome GTI isn't too far from me, I might check them out.
I'm unsure now weather the timing belt need changing on this service or the next

also try PSI tuning in stoke, they know there stuff, and are pretty cheap on labour charges

I also came across conflicting information about when Audi recommend the cambelt change. I had mine done shortly after I bought the car, at 76k.
I know it's always best to err on the side of caution - if the timimg belt lets go, it's mega-bucks to put right - but if you've only done 110k now, and the belt was changed at 67k, that's only 43k miles ago. I personally would have it changed at the next service (120k?) BUT - peace of mind is everything!
Haven't changed the fuel filter - so don't know how difficult it is.
I've also heard good things about Awesome, but have never used them.

awesome did do the cruise control on my car, no complaints about the work except the under dash trim wasnt cliped in, one hit later it was sorted.

psi did my lowing springs on my old a4 tdi 1.9, i had a mate there so i got a good deal .

however awesome is good too from what i hear off my folks,,,,,,,

psi, have done loads on my car even befor i owned it, hence why i went back there to get the coilovers replaced
