Hi, does anyone know what sort of compression I should be getting from the above standard engine.
I`ve did a cold test with pot 1 105 psi, pot 2 110 psi, pot 3 95 psi and pot 4 was 90 psi, I repeated the tests with a hot engine plus a hot wet test with hardly any increase in psi.
I know the test relies on a good seal around the piston rings and valves, is it possible for loss of compression through the injector seals as this is direct injection or wouldn`t that make a difference.
The car seems to run fairly smoothly but has the odd miss once in a while.
Any help would be appreciated.
