Hello all,

My DIS stalk button has stopped responding.
It happened after I had the battery disconnected to repair a couple of things:
The reversing light switch connection on the gearbox.
The dashboard light dimmer.

I had the battery disconnected for both jobs.
Can't think what may have cause the stalk button to fail.

Wipers and intermittent changer switch still work properly just the DIS button does nothing at all.

Really annoying 'cause not only do I like checking fuel use and av speed, etc., but I also like to turn the display off - which now I can't.

Also on longer journey's the 2hr warning comes on and I can't dismiss it so it just flashes at me until I turn the ignition off.

If anybody has any idea how I can sort this out please get in touch.

Thanks all!

Did you take the cluster out during the repair activities?
Hi @Erikn89nl

Thanks for your reply.

No the cluster hasn't been disturbed, at least not knowingly.
I removed the lower panels of the dash around the steering column (I didn't know there was a sneaky quick release for the lights switch panel).
Is there a chance I might have accidentally knocked a wire off something do you think?
