Just got in my S3 and switch the engine on, when I pressed the clutch to put into gear the pedal drops straight it and doesn't return. Checked under the car and there's a clear leak of something. What would the problem be and how can I sort it? Help please..

Could be the master cylinder, slave cylinder or broken pedal... common problems and loads of threads on here including a clutch pedal how-to...

The clutch fluid pipe where it connects to the bleed nipple on the gear box can also be easily damaged if the gearbox is removed or anything disturbed around that area... first thing to do of course is to establish where the leak is coming from
