I have found this on ebay and was wonderig if it woudl be a straight swap for my A4 1.8T Avant B6 2004?

The part number starts 8E, so its a B6 steering wheel, probably listed wrong. It will fit.

Ask them to confirm is the part number correct or is it off an A3, both cant be true.

Yeah it confused me,
I am assuming that I would need the airbag for it as well (or could I use the one I have in the OEM)

If it is an 8E part rather than A3, and you currently have a 3 spoke steering wheel with a soul black air bag, then you can use yours.

Can you fit an A3 steering wheel to a B6 if it has the airbag? as I nearly bought one once as it was advertised in the same way i.e. fits A3, A4, A5 etc...
