big hello from OZ. got a '98 a3 8L.

having some clutch issues at the moment and am looking at this kit
Volkswagen Golf IV 1.8T > Drivetrain > Clutch > ES#125 Clutch Kit - 14lbs. Lightweight Steel Flywheel - ESR198031S1
if anyone can confirm if this fits would be great.

Hi, welcome to ASN. Where in Oz are you? Post pics of your car. Have a look in the A3 8l section. There are threads at the top of the page with lots of info in them and im sure one of the guys/girls will be along shortly. Enjoy the forum.

I'm in Melbourne. Heres a thread (with pics) I've started on vwwatercooled - an Aus based forums for VAG cars. A3. 8L. Black on black. On black.
