I want to clean my EGR valve this week. When I remove it is there are a gasket I will need to renew when refitting? Car is a 2002 awx. Cheers.

I was told by another member to renew the O ring seal between the EGR and inlet manifold, as mine was leaking there anyways:

If you want you could replace the gasket at the top of the gold pipe to one with a smaller hole from a MK3 Ibiza! But with yours being a 2002 you could maybe blank the EGR without the EML coming on?
I'd clean out the inlet manifold too when your in there!
