1.8 TFSi S-Line S-Tronic

I'm thinking of upgrading from my current 8p2 A3 2.0tdi SE S-tronic to a 8p3 A3 S-line, S-tronic with the 1.8tfsi engine. Looking at the MPG numbers etc, it would seem to be quoting similar to what i get from my current diesel A3, what do people really get mileage wise from one of these?

Finally what do you think i'd get for my car if i sold it? Its 57 plate, akoya silver, 43K FASH, 1 previous owner and immaculate condition. It has upgraded 17" 5 spoke sport alloys and MY09 rear lights, also replaced the interior trim from wood to piano black.

I think the 1.8TFSi is the way to go. Rather a petrol engine as it's less complicated than modern diesels.
Do not have a clue on real life mpg nor value of your moded A3.
