a3 problem tdi 2.0 wont start

Hi i have a audi 2.0 tdi sport 57 plate with 60k miles i have had no problems and just tried to start it and its ticking over but not starting ? Ive tryed it 6 times now up until the point the battery starts to die (about 10 seconds) after it if i leave it it says esp problem but i think thats...
