    Tyres - one to avoid

    I use Vredestein Sportrac 3 on my B5 2.5Tdi FWD, they are excellent tyres, £70 each (205 55/16) very predictable in the wet. I can highly recommend them. Soon be time to get the Michelin Alpin A4 winter tyres back on tho, again well worth it, £415 fitted at ATS

    724miles from a single tank, that's pretty good going don't you think?

    I have a 2.5 AFB B5 Avant, I get around 400 out of a tank, averages around 30-35/gallon with plenty of town work, picking up kids etc, on a run, Perth-Glasgow-Edinburgh-Perth and some town work, I am 200 miles on 1/3 tank just now (62 litre tank)
