The limp mode can kick in at any time. Normally between 1900-2500 revs
The egr valve was replaced because of the limp mode.
It is still mapped for performance and should have the egr delete also.
Ok so posted a while back that my car was hitting limp and displaying an EGR fault even tho it had apparently been mapped out.
ok so bought a new EGR valve and what do you know I'm still getting limp mode....
Any suggestions. It is not currently blanked off but there is a restrictor gasket in...
It was meant to have been deleted properly. I told him it must not have been but he just fobbed me off. The company who did the map said that if the egr is faulty then it will flag a fault. I told them how can this be when it's meant to mapped out. ****ing useless they are.
i also don't...
It was meant to have been mapped out and so was blanked off. However was still getting this code when blanked. Person who mapped it blamed the egr being faulty which is what I couldn't understand.
But it's been mapped out......

I'm loving the fact that when the pump goes and the cars taken into a garage their reply is; "oh it's a common fault" however according to Audi it ain't.
