Back to topic... I am genuinally feeling for you though as the car does look spot on (apart from the obvious) but at least you have managed to stay calm about the whole situation (which a lot of us wouldnt have done!)
Sure they will fix it and not just write it off?
On a more serious note make...
So just you being a "good citizen" is going to make all the difference when everyone is doing stuff like that? I agree the whole system is a complete scam but if everyone played fair then fair enough.... That's not how it works though
I like it, reminds me of my old MK4 Golf. However as suggested it does look a tad too bright, could you fit a dimmer switch somewhere? You seem to know what you are doing with electronics :)
Oh and... fancy doing mine?
That's exactly why I would feel embarrassed to contact them about it, thought about asking someone like a tuning specialist or something as they may have come across the issue.
Not really too worried about it to be honest as said before it's not like every day I do that sort of speed, just had...
It was a little worrying at the time, had a good look around on the car today but no signs of any damage to anything. Feel a little embarrassed to contact audi about the problem if i'm honest, with all the experience I have had with them recently.
How sensitive is the switch under the bonnet...
Right before I get heavily slated for doing serious speed. Please read the following:
I have a friend who owns a private airbase who likes cars and we were doing some high speed runs on it last night to see how fast we could go. The cars were on private property and therefore no speed limits...
Pretty much what I am doing...
Not wanting to start discussing money but insurance as you wanted to know for the RS4 is £880 and for the SL55 it's £1450... As it's a convertible it's higher. I still own both cars.
Update:
Getting a written apoligy from Audi uk for my service experienced, they are reimbursing me for all fuel used in "road testing" the vehicle and an explanation why the vehicle was driven hard. They cannot explain the tyre wear for the time the car spent with Audi however they are...
Tyres are Pirelli Pzero Rosso's all round. I always use Pirellis on all my cars.
I'm having my Solicitor put it in writing for me to head office about the service I have recieved. I agress with whats been said about courtesy car and lack of being cleaned as minor issues but posted my entire...
Right, as the title says I am utterly annoyed with my Audi dealership, I won't say which dealership yet as just want some opinions of which route I should go down to resolve the issue.
Basically, I took my car into dealership for some warranty repairs (the car came with 1 year extended...
Thanks for the info, yeah it does seem they don't change pistons or for that matter any compression ratio of the engine so excessive boost is going to be a problem. I was going to be taking a trip over to MTM to discuss anyway after the bad spell of weather we are having is clear. As you say...
APR - Audi B7 RS4 4.2L FSI V8 Stage III Supercharger System
Yeah been looking at that one too, it's a bit of a miefield really choosing between the 2, really want to speak to someone down to earth enough to let me know how they get on with it on a daily basis... Got to remember this car is my...
Just makes me think how many times RAC/AA/Other Breakdown Companies have come out to people with keys locked in boots of cars, thinking about disabling the button on the key now lol...
Managed to get a lift home at dinner so all is good lol
