What's on your avant now (OEM)?
I really can't make my mind up on those LED's, which is why I'm also looking at whether replacing the bulbs themselves for LED's in the OEM units may be a good option.
Cheers mate. I've seen some of Trups work actually, top bloke.
I don't know whether to just buy some LED's and give them a try.
What's everyone's opinions on the aftermarket LED complete light units? They seem to change the styles often. I'd want something as close to an OEM style as...
Hi guys, have any of you replaced the bulbs in the tail lights with LeD's? If so, any pictures to share?
I've searched and searched, but apologies if there are other threads on this topic.
I know you can get replacement tail light units by the likes of Decane, etc but I can not make my mind up...
^ got any more pics mate? It likes stunning. The wheels appear go have a dish on them like OEM RS4 alloys and the side skirts make it look like an RS4 in the pictures. In still not sure if it is actually an RS4, lol. Either way it looks great. Did you get the alloys painted in Audi titanium?
An old thread I know and a mod a lot of have visited several times, myself included. Wondered if anyone had the 22mm RS4 rear ARB for sale if they were selling the car or upgrading to aftermarket ARB's etc. if so please drop me a PM. Cheers
Depends how much you want to spend.
Cheap
I-Trip for music
Basic Parrot or Nokia from Ebay for handsfree
Expensive
Parrot MKi9200 music and handsfree
Dension Gateway 500 (think it's the 500 that does everything)
Audi OEM Bluetooth and Ipod cable
The thing to remember is that the quattro exhaust for the 4 cylinder cars is different to the front wheel drive exhaust. So if you buy second hand (say 2.0T exhaust) then you need to make sure it's from a front wheel drive car if that's what yours is. Equally if you go with something like...
No, Milltek is a brand. OEM = original manufacture equipment. No links sorry, it's all down to your budget. Do some research on the tinterweb.:readit:
Milltek. OEM 2.0T exhaust (smaller tips than DTM though) yes it fits the 4cly TDI's, any custom exhaust place for c.£400 - DTM tips are 100mm IIRC. SO many options. :icon_thumright:
PM replied to. Mine is similar to the one above but with the fixing beneath for chargers, I-trips etc. You have to buy the fixing bracket seperately (I have this for mine and will be included). You just need four radio removal keys (99p from eBay). Pull the head unit out and attach the bracket...
IMO Brodit are the best. I bought a few first and was never happy with them. I then dicovered this. Which allows you to keep the charger, i-trip etc attached all then time if required, whilst just taking the phone out of the cradle or putting it in without messing with ther wires. You can...
Welcome, nice selection of cars. Agree the Dolphin grey is a great colour. Not a bad downgrade, hey?! Enjoy. Oh, and rear ARB and coilovers. PSS9's are good by all accounts.
3.0TDI any time for me buddy. If you can get a post March '06 one it comes with 233bhp too. I believe MRC can map both to c.270bhp, which with the amount of torque is plenty quick enough. NOt saying the 2.0T is a bad car, far from it, but I'd personally be going for the 3.0TDI
Not associated with the seller, but looks like a nice mod for you guys, you'd need 100mm tips to fill those exhaust holes.
