Yes mate it is, although with import tax and duty you may end up spending the same amount as buying in the uk. If you buy in the uk make sure you tell the supplier its an A4 as the pick up pipe is different but everything else is the same

Ive got one with 30k on it if you get stuck, but the best conversion is the 1.8t oil pump, will cost you in the region of £500

Sounds pick up pipe related mate. Try not to run it at all until its replaced. The tapping is the top end running dry of oil. The longer its tapping the more damage it will do. The design of the sump is the main issue. Also check the pump while your in there, but the soubd changing sounds more...
Ill be suprised if it is ok as this is usually the cause of the sprocket issue. But i would have it tested before putting it back together. Speak to Alex @ Aks tuning regarding the balance shaft delete. You can use the existing pump.
The RS4s are defo worth it with the right spec, but mine compared to a customers of mine is silly in comparison performance wise. Absolutely destroys it. Ive decoked it, removed the inlet runner flaps and partitioners, sorted a massive vacuum leak and now its finally ready for a stage 2 map...

Thanks mate, yes its pretty much how i want it tbh, i just enjoy driving it with no issues. The road presence is just perfect. Hope all is well with yours :)
Hi everyone, been a while since i posted on the good old A4 B7 forum, hope your all well and your B7s are looking after you..
I know some of you are quite interested in the process's of tuning, personalising/modifying.. so i thought id change things up a little. To say im a paint sprayer i seem...
Check the balance shafts on the oil pump, usually they sieze which causes the chain to split the sprocket on the pump. Looks like youve caught it early. You will need to fit a full pump and revised pick up pipe. Hopefully that will be all...
Its a very old post this guys 2012 to be precise. I added 19s and had the 4 wheel alignment done and it was fine, done a big turbo conversion, sold it for parts and bought an Rs4 since then. But thanks for following it up. :)
We break the tyre off the bead, mount into our wheel machine, grind the damage out with a course cutting disc (while the wheel rotates)
Once the damage is out, we move upto a medium course disc, then a fine disc. We then polish to a shine, then run round the outer edge with grades as low as...
