It's really funny to read some of the comments! Myself and 1inchpunch are both members on the e90post which is a great forum and obviously we joined because we were drivin e90's at the time but we still frequent there and why shouldn't the op remain an avid member on this forum?? At the end of...
It's 80k and the water pump should be done at the same time. I got the belt kit, water pump, alternator belt and oil service for 400 quid. All oem parts and the garage is a highly recommended specialist
This sounds about right mate. I was speaking to a guy recently who had to get the chain replaced on his civic type r because it kept jumping a tooth and he was over a grand! The chains aren't meant to fail, thus the price.
That's sound mate. I have a 2 year old daughter and don't want her being rattled about in her seat. I've done coilovers in the past namely spax but I could of spewed the first few journeys it was so bouncy!
So how did you go about fitting your xenons mate. Is it as straight forward as headlights, bulbs , ballasts all oem, code providing the ecu supports xenons and your done? I would go for this if this is the case, not fussed for bi or adaptive either
Hi all, I'm slowly getting to know the different models, options, mods etc for the a3. I've been a car fanatic all my days so really just wanted to know more detail. I posted some pics up a few weeks ago in my thread ' standard s line' so just wanted to know what 8p my car is? It's a 56 07 model...
Lol my mistake!! Well op if it helps and from what I understand you can fit genuine headlights with bulbs and ballasts and code the car but you will get flamed by many for not fitting levelling sensors and headlamp washers.
That looks spot on! I have the same wheels so think I'll get these eibachs fitted. How much more comfortable is it over s line? It doesn't bounce does it? What about clearance with the spacers and people in the rear?
Bbs for the win mate. The other rims look very small! That style of wheel has to be massive because the spokes are too short and the there's the outer lip. Go for the dark bbs they will look the nuts and there 19's which is never a bad thing!!!
sounds like the fuel mix might be too much bud! diesels or soot chuckers as there better known can do this when you floor it even when there standard but bare in mind that fueling, boost pressure etc has all been increased and i know what its like when youve jus had a car mapped as you'l be...
I'm the same mate it's a beautiful wheel but require a lot of attention. I was planning to lower it 30mm on eibach pro springs on the s line dampers. Would this suffice? I don't want the decked look just loose the arch gap and stance slightly
