So that didn't solve it. Anyone got any ideas?
The Coolant Temp radiator outlet constantly reads 139.0c!
It cant be the sensor as its brand new from Audi.
Maybe a wiring issue?
OK thanks, I've changed both the sensors now and the fan is still running. Did a bit of playing with vcds and block 130 gave 2 coolent readings. 1 was rising with the car getting warm and the other was just sat at 139c!
The last thing I can try is sorting the fan control circuit code I have so...
Ok, Thank you for that. The measuring blocks were fine when i checked it was and giving the correct reading. I'll start with the G83 sensor and go from there. Do you know where it is? Is it the awkward one at the front of the engine, number 21 or is it number 10?
Hi all,
I've had a fault code of :-
001152 - Coolant Fan Control Circuit 1 - P0480 - 002 - Electrical Malfunction - Intermittent
for a while now whenever i put my aircon on. Both fans would run flat out and it is very noisy.
After the hot weather we had last week i noticed on a cool morning...
Thanks for your help, I just fitted the shim and gear selection has improved dramatically. Clutch pedal also feels better! I don't know why. Would this be because it sorts out the play on the clutch itself?
Love my BCS exhaust but would like to have a bit more noise/burble/pops every now and then. I don't want to jam the valve open and have it noisy all the time.
I had a thought! If I got a normally open solenoid pneumatic valve hooked up to a switch on the pipe connecting the valve I could control...
I know this has been covered loads and I have scoured the internet but I can't find the answer for my set up!
The coding I have set is:
Xenon headlights with separate halogen high beam
I also have set separate DRLs
I'm after trying to dim the DRLs more when headlights are on. I remember coming...
Cheers. Fog lights are just some yellow film over them. I'm going to remove it today, I think it will look better. Next to the fogs I have some of these
I will be going back to standard covers, a bit of overkill having those as well as the angel eyes
I did the pickup pipe a while back. Not that difficult. Be careful of the plastic cover on the chain, I broke mine! Also don't put massive amounts of sealant back on the sump, you dont want any silicon bits floating around in your engine. Here are a few pics of when I did mine.
