When I bought it about 4 years ago i thought it was pretty decent. It looks good in the dash and integrates with the phone and DIS etc. It never failed to get me to my destination :)
Sold it for £375 as I wanted a quick sale
Hi mate
Not sure about the wheels for the A6. I'll decide when I actually collect it; waiting on the DVLA to sort the paperwork for the plate out as the A6 had a private plate on it
Sold the satnav Sunday night to another member so that's gone already sorry
Never swapped the suspension. I...
So on Saturday I did a deal for this

So the A3 will soon be leaving me after 5 years and 75,000 miles together :(
Overall its been a really nice car but the last few months I've gotten tired of the harsh S...
Probably quicker to just swap it out. My local garage stripped and cleaned both but it was to no avail :(
Went for two refurbed units at £75 each as opposed to the £150 each Audi wanted
I've had a set of them since I bought my A3 about 5 years ago and had a set of my Golf prior to that
Does the job brilliantly and keeps the heat out of the back
I use the rear window ones too as they block out far more light than the standard parcel shelf one :)
If the exhaust gases are escaping BEFORE they get to the exhaust then the logical place you will smell them is under the bonnet
No fault codes simply mean that the fault doesn't exist near a sensor for it to get its knickers in a twist and throw up either a code or a management light
^^^^THIS^^^^
The cable more than makes it money over the course of ownership and you know it won't screw you car up
Support from Ross Tech is excellent too :)
Glow plugs are only used for starting the car. They are not a performance item hence why no loss of power
The glow plug light flashing and your fault code go hand in hand. The light is used to indicate the fault
Swap the switch and I'm 99% certain it will cure your problem :) the switch is...
I stand corrected then :)
Lucky for the owners of the affected vehicles!!
Personally if i had a car that was affected I wouldn't bother unless I had to in order to claim compensation
Otherwise I don't see the point in wasting my time taking it to be detuned then mapped again!!

That could throw a spanner in the works; you may have no choice in the matter but to take your car back........
Its it software then yes, kiss goodbye to your remap. Your tuner should be able to put it back om without issue though :)
Unless VW / Audi also implement security protocols and lock the ECU.......
Lots to consider, but there's no point worrying until more details about what the recall entails...
This is a very common issue in MK6 Golf GTI's
Great result on getting that contribution but to be fair Audi should be stumping up the full amount. At the end of the day its a manufacturing fault and not something you could prevent with servicing. The fact there is a revised part practically...
Only applies to new cars registered in 2017

Your car will continue to be taxed at its current rate
Nothing has been decided yet. VW are still looking at the technical side of it
A decision is expected in next couple of weeks.
Until then there's no point worrying about it. To be honest if your car is mapped and all the recall entails is a software update then I don't see the point??
If its...
