Great advice, to be honest I've looked into this and as it seems any petrol above 2007 should conform. I've looked at A5 Quattro's and apparently the 2.0 tfsi's (225) do 40'ish mpg? not sure how believable/achievable this is in the real world.
It's just confusing as I'm not sure whether to opt...
I’ve recently sold my 520D and now looking for a new (used) Audi…
At the moment, I’m driving my girlfriends 8P3 09 140 TDI (Stage 1) to work which does about 48-55mpg. I do 50 miles daily from London to Hertfordshire.
Now as I only do between 9k-10k miles a year, I’m thinking petrol for the...
Cheers for the response, will certainly check the clips and hopefully get a video of it. Unfortunately I've tried to record it on video but it doesn't pick up the noise mainly because of the exhaust [emoji19]
Hi all,
Long story short, i've recently bought a 2.0T Quattro S line SE which came with a Neuspeed induction (car is also mapped stage1)

Now the problem is, when the car is rolling in gear/neutral (accelerator released) I can...
Unfortunately I don't have any photos however I did do it on two of my previous a3's. I tried it on Some spare ones easy job but if you take your time it does come out neat. My aux also had rubber grommets around it which made the drilled hole ever better.
Can't say it looks oem if that's...
Grille looks awesome, I would personally just not have badges on the back. Try and get some BBS's or Rotors (18") as they fit the A3 perfectly, and about the lowering I would go for coilovers, yet have AP X's and i would rate them 5* absolute quality.
To be fair with you normal springs on your standard shocks would not last long specially knowing your going to be using the car to its full potential I.e full car loaded!
I made the same mistake and even though it's me alone daily driving to uni and back my front shocks broke and all other 3...
To be exact my wheels are 18" 8J ET43 with 225/40 tyres, in terms of bumps no problem at all of course you have to go slow on them but nothing that would slow traffic down or **** anybody off!
The back seems to be lower meaning front yet has a bit of arch gap but when you look at the car the...
I've got them as low as they go and I'm on RS6's which are about the same size as fat fives. In terms of ride quality and comfort I rate them full house, much better then standard sport suspension or even when I had H&R springs.
AP's, Weitec and KW's all go as low as one another 65mm max if it's daily drive this is the lowest you could go. If you want more lows it's vmaxx which I think is only 10mm more the. AP's or FK's which tend to go as low as bags (75 Rear /100mm Front).
I just fitted AP's on mine all the way down and have to say it's about the best you go yet being practical. Other then AP's FK's are the only ones within the same price range that go much lower however the quality of AP's is outstanding.
Despite the car AP's, AP X or Weitec and KW's all go as low as 65mm max! I thought this isn't enough however after mine settling which i still think requires another week or two I think 65mm is max no matter whether it's a A3 or S3 as after that I would surely consider bags!
I do however get...
Awesome for some reason I couldn't believe this conversion would ever take place!
Can't wait for the full conversion any glimpse of when about you probably would be done with it?
Quick update for anybody else interested, had the AP's fitted last weekend been driving on them for good 7/8 days now and have to rate them full house!
Quality is awesome, no knocking noises at all, adjuster are yet on the back but wound all the way down front and rear and today I realised that...
