Yeah it's S Tronic, so still a DSG. It's weird because Audi service centres say the gearbox is sealed for life and therefore they don't offer any oil change services.

Hi, nope never figured out how to fix it. I did end up trying a different light cluster that was taken off another A3 that I had lying around and that worked fine. So you'll probably need to replace the whole light cluster unfortunately

Thanks for your reply. It seems that is most likely what's happened. Appears I'll have to replace the unit. At least it doesn't throw an error on the dash display.

Hi, I seem to have one part of the led tail lights not working on my 2009 A3 Sportback facelift. I have looked around but haven't been able to find a proper answer. Any suggestions of why this is? Will I need to replace the whole light cluster? Many thanks
